Ask about Grade A ↗ Grades describe cosmetic condition. Every grade must pass the same function checks before sale. Prices are for standard TMR controllers, plus postage as shown on eBay. Colours and grades depend on stock; genuine limited editions and custom builds are priced separately. Images are illustrative; eBay listings show the actual controller and its condition.
Refurbished controller stock is being prepared. Message us on eBay for availability before ordering.
DON’T BIN IT. GIVE IT ANOTHER ROUND.
YOUR OLD CONTROLLER.
A NEW POSSIBILITY.
Have a used or faulty genuine PS5 DualSense? Ask about a trade-in towards an eligible refurbished controller or upgrade service. Your quote depends on the controller’s condition.
Enquiries openRequest a trade-in quote.
Tell us the controller model, its condition, any faults and previous repairs, and which controller or upgrade interests you. Clear photos of the front, back and any damage help us assess it.
- Working and faulty genuine standard DualSense controllers considered
- Value depends on condition, repair needs and current demand
- You must own the controller and have the right to trade it in
- Agree your quote before sending
Ask about a trade-in ↗Message us before posting your controller. We’ll confirm your quote and delivery instructions.
How a trade-in works
- Share the details. Send photos and an honest description, including liquid damage, missing parts or previous modifications.
- Review the provisional quote. Before you send anything, we agree the proposed value, eligible purchase, how any credit would be applied, and who pays inbound and return postage.
- Inspection on arrival. We check identity, condition and faults against your description. The quote remains provisional until inspection.
- You approve the final offer. If the value changes, we explain why. You can accept or decline; if you decline, we arrange return under the postage terms agreed beforehand.
Trade-in terms and what to agree before sending
Trade-in offers depend on condition and repair costs. We’ll confirm whether we can accept your controller after assessment.
Before you send anything, we’ll agree the trade-in value, what it can be used towards, any expiry date and postage costs. If inspection changes the offer, you can accept it or have the controller returned under the agreed postage terms. Purchases made through eBay stay on eBay.
We do not refurbish, dismantle for parts or dispose of your controller without your agreement. Ownership transfers only on the agreed acceptance terms. Serial-number and condition records help identify your controller. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
A FEW THINGS WORTH KNOWING.
BEFORE YOU SEND IT.
What do controller grades A, B and C mean?
Grade A is excellent cosmetic condition with minimal wear. Grade B is good cosmetic condition with light visible wear. Grade C has more noticeable scratches or scuffs. All three standard grades include both TMR sticks, full refurbishment, deep cleaning, calibration, function testing and brand-new thumbstick caps. Grades describe appearance; every controller sold must be fully working. Check the actual item photos and condition details on eBay. Postage is charged separately.
Are new thumbsticks included?
Yes. Every controller and service comes with free brand-new thumbsticks (the thumbstick caps you touch). Replacement analogue sensor modules are included only where specified, such as our TMR upgrade services.
Can I book a paddle or rear-button upgrade?
Custom paddles and rear-button upgrades are coming soon. Explore custom upgrades. The TMR stick upgrade service remains available.
What is a TMR joystick upgrade?
TMR modules use magnetic sensing instead of conventional potentiometer contacts. They help reduce wear-related stick drift, but no component is guaranteed never to develop a fault.
Why does a controller tester show small TMR stick movements?
PC testing software may show small changes even when the sticks are untouched. A stick does not always return to a mathematically exact zero. Small fluctuations alone do not establish whether a module is faulty.
Many games use a deadzone to ignore small inputs around the centre; this varies by game and settings. Very low or zero-deadzone settings can make small fluctuations noticeable. We do not guarantee perfectly zero readings or drift-free operation at every setting.
Contact us through eBay if your character or camera moves without input, the sticks do not centre consistently, or their performance changes unexpectedly. Tell us the game and deadzone settings; photos or video can help. We’ll help investigate under your six-month repair / upgrade warranty. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
Do I need to send my own controller?
Yes, for the mail-in upgrade service. Refurbished controller enquiries are separate and include a fully refurbished, deep cleaned and tested controller, subject to confirmed availability.
What does the repair warranty cover?
The six-month repair / upgrade warranty covers the supplied upgrade parts and our installation. For paddle upgrades this includes the kit and replacement rear housing. Accidental damage, liquid damage, misuse and unrelated faults are excluded. Your statutory rights are unaffected. Read our warranty and claims process.
Can a warranty claim be declined?
Yes, where assessment establishes a valid reason under our voluntary warranty, such as damage causing the reported fault, damage from later modifications, an unrelated fault outside a mail-in upgrade, ordinary cosmetic wear, expiry of the voluntary cover, or a proven controller mismatch. We explain our evidence and consider challenges. Opening a controller or a missing serial number alone does not automatically cancel cover. Your statutory rights are unaffected. Read the reasons and review process.
How do you protect against controller swaps?
For fraud prevention, we record the controller’s serial number and photograph its condition when it arrives and before return. This helps identify each controller and resolve any disputes.
Can I trade in a used or faulty controller?
We consider genuine standard PS5 DualSense controllers individually. Ask for a provisional trade-in quote with photos, fault details and the controller or upgrade you want. Value, acceptance, how credit can be used and postage must be agreed before you send anything. The final offer follows inspection; if it changes, we ask for your approval. We’ll explain how your agreed trade-in value will be applied before you commit.
What if my controller has another fault?
Please include it in your enquiry. Additional faults are assessed separately and any extra work is agreed before proceeding.
